There’s power behind empowerment.
At Amount we believe in fueling our team’s passion and momentum by ensuring they’re recognized for the incredible work that they are doing both for the business and in their personal lives.
That’s why we created Womxn Wednesday: a spotlight of the brilliant womxn at Amount, meant to showcase the fervent individuals behind our daily success.
With that, meet one of Amount’s talented womxn, Janice Lodato.
Introducing, Janice.
What role do you play on the Amount team?
I’m a Senior Technical Project Manager and Scrum Master for the Partner Facing team. I’m also the Scrum Master Captain in our new Squad structure.
What’s your favorite thing about working at Amount?
I love the scrappiness of Amount. Previously, I worked on a government-funded project that was much more conservative. It’s exciting to see the speed of change that happens here from a technology and process perspective.
What are you most proud of in your career thus far? Why?
I am really proud of every team that I’ve built or helped to grow. It’s amazing to me to see a group of strangers come together and build great things. I’m proud to facilitate that success.
How do you “fill your cup”?
I run at least four times a week, meditate, and I’m a Reiki Master. I also try to maintain strong barriers between my work and home life.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Listen to your intuition and avoid the people and places that don’t align with your highest self.
What womxn inspires you and why?
I admire Jacinda Ardern.
"To me, leadership is not about necessarily being the loudest in the room, but instead being the bridge, or the one thing that is missing in the discussion and trying to build a consensus from there. " - Jacinda Ardern
